North All-Stars Rout South 42-14 in 2025 Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic

GULFPORT, Miss. — The North all-stars dominated the South with a balanced attack and opportunistic defense, cruising to a 42-14 victory in the Bernard Blackwell All-Star Classic on Saturday at Milner Stadium.

Germantown quarterback King White threw for one touchdown and directed an efficient offense, earning offensive MVP honors for the North squad. The win marked the North’s second straight win in the annual all-star game featuring Mississippi’s top graduating seniors.

The North struck first when Kingston Gregory intercepted a Parker Nettles pass and returned it 68 yards for a touchdown.

Marcus Flowers quickly added a 2-yard rushing score to make it 14-0 after one quarter.

The onslaught continued in the second, with Lakendrick Potts hauling in a 47-yard pass from White and Dagarrious Clifton catching a 7-yard touchdown on a reverse pass from Mike Johnson. The North led 28-0 before Sharriod Whitehead got the South on the board with a 2-yard run.

White connected with Jaiden Tucker for a 22-yard touchdown pass as the North carried a 34-7 lead into halftime.

Patrick Crump scooped up a muffed punt for a 10-yard fumble return score in the third quarter, pushing the margin to 42-7.

Ronde Baker’s 1-yard plunge in the fourth accounted for the South’s final points.

White completed 6 of 9 passes for 100 yards and two touchdowns. Prentiss Cork was named defensive MVP for the North after notching seven tackles.

For the South, Whitehead took offensive MVP, and Latham Gavin claimed defensive honors. 

The North outgained the South 338-173 in total offense and controlled the game from beginning to end.
